Arnaldo Ribelles was the Commissioner of Lleida in Catalonia in the Order of San Juan in 1274. Ramón de Ribelles, a knight of the same order, in 1298. And Ramón Ribelles, also a knight of San Juan, served as the commissioner of Barberá in 1319 and Barbens in 1320.
Doña Elvira de Ribelles, daughter of Baron de Ribelles and Lady of Alcántara de Júcar (Valencia), married rich and noble Don Juan de Vilanova Montagud in Valencia. On August 27, 1464, she was honored by King Don Juan with the direct and mixed rule over the aforementioned place Alcántara, which belonged to her.
